The second stage of labeling of dairy products will begin on September 1, 2021. It will affect products with a shelf life of more than 40 days. The company RostAgroExport, which produces products under the brands "Rostagroexport", "Nostalgia", "Krepysh", "Belarusian pattern", "Delicious Day" "Phytoidea" and others, is already ready for implementation.

‘We are ready for the second stage of labeling. We have several types of products with a shelf life of more than 40 days. These are fermented milk drinks in bottles "Tan", "Ayran" with a long shelf life. The software has already been adapted, printers and cameras have been purchased. Now we are setting up everything and launching it in the footsteps of the first stage,’ says Sergey Kravtsov, IT Director of RostAgroExport. ‘We do it according to the same scheme, so we have no questions. The main volume of products will go to the third stage.

According to him, the company agreed to test the codes in the Trackmark laboratory, which was opened on the initiative of the Ministry of Industry and Trade and with the support of ACORT (Association of Retail Companies) and the operator of the Honest mark system. In the future, the company plans to conduct such tests on a regular basis to monitor the quality of the application.
