Russia and Belarus need to create a system to track incoming food, said Deputy Minister of agriculture of the Russian Federation Yevgeny Nepoklonov.
Negotiations between Russia and Belarus on deliveries of food are scheduled for 14 April, he reminded. Beside others the issue of supply of sanctions products to Russia will be discussed at the meeting.
"Certainly, shrimps, and pineapples, and everything else. We need to create a system that allows tracking products, which come to Russia and Belarus", — said Nepoklonov.
He stressed that it is not planned to introduce any new requirements for supplies. "No one is going to work out any new requirements. We have repeatedly discussed with them only one question: the supply should be conducted legally. That it must be clear, who produced and what raw materials were used for production. If it is vegetables and fruits, then again — which enterprise produced them? Based on this we are able to find out if there are pesticides and other toxic chemicals in the products", — he explained.
Results of the Rosselkhoznadzor inspection of Belarusian enterprises are not yet ready, he said. "They (inspection results) are not available yet. If part of them is finished by Friday, it is good, if not — it means that some of the questions we will have to discuss without them," he said.
Earlier, the Rosselkhoznadzor started inspection of Belarusian enterprises in the products of which there were identified some violations.
