Russia decreased import of dairy products by 2.4 times in 2015

According to preliminary customs statistics, in 2015 import of goods from far-abroad countries to Russia totaled 161 billion 571 million what is 36.4% less compared to 2014.
In the group of food items the country decreased import of sugar by 3.7 times, dairy products – by 2.4 times, meat and meat by-products - by 2.2 times, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages - by 36.1%, fish – by 29.9%, vegetables – by 21.2%, tobacco – 12.1%. However the country increased import of seed oil by 8.1%, fruit – by 2.9%, import of grains was kept at the level of December 2014.
