According to him, significant development is noted not only in the field of agriculture, but also in other industries, "and it is not only the defense industry, which has always been strong".
"Look at the leap forward made by the pharmaceutical industry, just because there was a demand for drugs, there appeared money that is sent for these purposes. In recent years, the pharmaceutical industry has grown at a rate of 15 to 25 percent per year, and this allows us to solve huge problems in supplying people with medicines that are sold for rubles and are not subject to foreign exchange conditions", Medvedev added.
