Russia hasn’t found its place in WTO
WTO membership causes Russian economy only damages. Many experts believe, the country wasn’t ready to enter the WTO and to take advantages of it. Federal Customs Service data – is a strong example to prove it.
During the first half of 2013 total Russian export fall 3.8%, import – grew by 4.4%. Import of food commodities surged the most: the country increased import of dairy products, vegetables, fruit.
Losses of livestock farming also reached significant extent. Only pig farmers lost around 50 bln rubles during the last year. Almost all Russian participants of foreign economic activities consider the current customs policy to be inadequate and aimed at domestic production devastation.
Import of dairy products also grew during the last half of the year: milk and cream + 15.5%, powdered milk +47.7%, butter + 12.5%, cheeses and curd +10%.
