“Meanwhile former socialist countries in Eastern Europe during the period of 15 years have achieve success in livestock breeding and milk production, they became EU leaders”, - he said.
The expert gave an example of Czech Republic: in 2014 average milk yield totaled 9,550 kg per year, in 1990s it was around 4,000 kg per year. According to The DairyNews, in 2014 average milk yield in Russia reached 5,391 kg per cow per year.
