Russian export of ice-cream increased by 118% in volume terms in 2015, according to Russia’s Trade Representative in PRC Aleksey Gruzdev.
Total trade turnover between China and Russia decreased in 2015 by 28.6% and reached $68.06 bln. In January 2016 volume of trade between the countries dropped by 8.9% in dollar terms compared to the same period of 2015 and reached $4.99 bln.
According to Russia’s Trade Representative in China, the amount of requests from Russian companies with proposals to export agricultural products and food to China have increased manifold. At year-end 2015 export of fat-and-oil products from Russia to China rose by 8.8 times in terms of value and by 9.4 times – in physical terms.
