Russian Government plans to reduce the country’s food market dependence on meat import from 21.6% to 7.7%, on milk and dairy products import – from 23.6% to 16.6%.
Russian Government plans to reduce the country’s food market dependence on meat import from 21.6% to 7.7%, on milk and dairy products import – from 23.6% to 16.6%, on vegetables import – from 14.6% to 10.1%. The relevant document was signed on October, 2nd 2014, according to the Government Decree №1948-r. According to the Ministry of Agriculture data, current Russia’s dependence on milk and dairy products amounts 23.6%.
