Small agribusiness of the Russian Federation can receive state support for labeling dairy products

This follows from the minutes of the meeting with Deputy Prime Minister Victoria Abramchenko, at which issues related to the development of small business in rural areas were discussed. Interfax has read the document. The press service of the Deputy Prime Minister confirmed its presence.

Abramchenko instructed the Ministry of Agriculture and the Ministry of Finance to "analyze data on the number of small business patterns engaged in the production and (or) processing of dairy products, including the amount of their costs associated with the introduction of mandatory labeling, and submit proposals to the government on the possibility of providing state support for their financing" from the federal budget. This order must be completed by December 8, 2021.

The Protocol also provides for other instructions aimed at supporting small agribusiness. Thus, the Ministry of Agriculture and the Rosselkhoznadzor were instructed to develop a model project for arranging slaughtering stations for agricultural animals "to use it to provide state support for small business patterns." Together with the regional authorities, these agncies should submit proposals to the Government on possible locations of such stations. This order must be completed by December 14.

Abramchenko also instructed to work out the issue of reducing the cost of veterinary services in the regions of the Russian Federation, to establish a list of mandatory services in this area.

In addition, a number of instructions concern reducing the cost of electricity for agricultural consumer cooperatives and farms, simplifying administrative procedures related to the commissioning of capital construction projects in the agro-industrial complex.

The meeting also drew the attention of the government of Tver region to the need to intensify work within the framework of the state program "Integrated Development of rural areas", the Government of the Crimea - to the need to intensify state support for aquaculture at the expense of the federal budget, in particular within the framework of concessional lending.
