Sobyanin has signed two laws on tax privileges for investors

"We provide privileges to industry of Moscow, which, contrary to popular misconceptions, is not dead, but is alive and feeling OK. Moscow produces bread, meat, milk, and ice cream, which are bought with pleasure all over Russia. At the Moscow factories they produce toothpaste, cosmetics and medicines. The hands of the Muscovites made the world's best air defense systems and satellites. Cars Renault, petrol at gas stations in Moscow and microcircuits for all sorts of chips are also "made in Moscow"," — wrote Sergei Sobyanin on his page "Vkontakte" on Friday.

According to him, authorities of the capital offer to investors to build new plants or modernize existing enterprises within the framework of regional investment projects.

"The investor must invest at least 300 million rubles in the production of new goods. In return he will receive the preferential rate of the profit tax for 10 years. Only 10% instead of the standard 17% payable to the city budget", — said the mayor.

He said that other benefits (cost of rent of the land or regional taxes) are also possible.
"We propose to invest more in the organization of production in the free areas of the special economic zone (SEZ) in Zelenograd and the Moscow Technopolis. An additional incentive for choosing Moscow SEZ will be new tax privileges," — said S. Sobyanin.

He reminded that until 2028 SEZ residents are exempt from the regional tax on profits. Then there will be set the reduced rate for them (5% till 2033, and further - 12.5%).

"The period of exemption from the payment of land and transport taxes for SEZ residents has been increased twice, from 5 to 10 years, ", — said the head of the city.

He added that the use of these benefits will reduce the tax burden by about 30% compared to normal level.
