Soyuzmoloko has announced its intention to create the index for the production cost of a liter of milk

This was stated by Chairman of Association Andrey Danilenko at the VIII Congress of Soyuzmoloko, according to The DairyNews.
"We initiated a new project — the creation of a special indicative. We do factor analysis and create the Index of cost of production of a liter of milk. We form the dynamics of the influence of each component of the cost price. Every month we will publish it to make it clear whether the price is fair or not", - said A. Danilenko.
It has to be noted that according to the evaluation of Soyuzmoloko, presented in the framework of the Congress, the level of self-sufficiency with milk and dairy products in Russia in 2016 was 78.9%. The country is provided with marketable milk at 71.7%.
