Soyuzmoloko has confirmed the possibility of postponing the obligatory EVC for six months

The authorities are considering the possibility of postponing obligatory electronic veterinary certification for six months (from 1 January to 1 July 2018), but a final decision on the matter is not made yet, reports The DairyNews.
The information was confirmed by Soyuzmoloko and the National Meat Association. The representatives of Rosselkhoznadzor were not available for comment at the time of publication.
Earlier it was reported that Soyuzmoloko proposes to establish a transition period for EVC of finished dairy products till 2023. This became known following the meeting on introduction of electronic veterinary certification with Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich. The final dates will be mentioned in the minutes of the meeting.
