Soyuzmoloko proposed to stick to the principle of one system of traceability
Just to remind, since November 1, mandatory electronic veterinary certification in the system "Mercury" for all commodity items of the sector of finished dairy products will enter into force in Russia. Since July 15, 2019, a pilot experiment on the introduction of labeling of finished products of dairy plants has been carried out in the country. It is expected that labeling for the dairy industry will become mandatory since June 1, 2020.
- There is "Mercury", now labeling is planned, there is still documentary traceability, for example, about which we all forgot. There should be one system. One commodity group – one system, - noted Artem Belov.
According to the expert, it is necessary to emphasize the importance of a more detailed analysis of the feasibility of introducing labeling on a particular product group.
- In addition, it is necessary together with the business community to determine the procedure, timing, methodology of feasibility analysis. In the process of approving the guidelines for the pilot project in the dairy industry we understood that we and our colleagues from the CATD understand the feasibility analysis in different ways. We understand it as the ratio of costs to potential costs; our colleagues understand it as a technical possibility of applying a QR code. It seems to me that this is a rather strange logic. Therefore, without the approval of the order, timing, methodology, feasibility analysis, we will move forward with great difficulty, - said Artem Belov.
