Stefan Duerr: in order to supply to China it is necessary to understand the market and find the right partners
- Of course we have contacts in China, of course we discussed these issues, but we haven’t signed a contract on supplies yet. I think that within six months we need to start deliveries to China. This market is volumetric, perspective and the least provided with milk if to compare it in proportions to the neighboring countries, - noted Stefan Durr.
According to the forecasts of the Ministry of agriculture of Russia, the domestic dairy industry has the potential to increase exports 2.7 times by 2024. In value terms, the volume of supplies could grow to $ 800 million in the next 6 years.
As previously reported, the General customs administration of China published a list of 10 enterprises-producers of dairy products from Russia, which are allowed to enter the Chinese market. Among them: EkoNiva-APK-Holding, GC Galaktika, Milkom (GC KOMOS), Zalessky farmer, Molvest, Lactalis Istra, Belebeyevsky dairy plant, Molkom, Alekseevskymilk-canning plant, Pugachevskie molochnye produkty.
