Stefan Duerr will become co-Chairman of the Board of Soyuzmoloko

- It is important for our industry that the Union has a balanced opinion, a clear position on the market situation. So that both the Ministry and the government have an objective, professional position of dairy farmers. In the situation with the existence of a number of dairy unions, there were often expressed diametrically opposed opinions on certain issues. It is not easy: milk processors have their own interests, producers have their own. There are large and small producers, TNCs and each has its own special interest. However, there are common points in which it is possible to find a compromise solution and to make an objective position, bringing a clear opinion of the industry, - said Andrey Danilenko, Chairman of the Board of Soyuzmoloko.

The expert stressed that the Board of Soyuzmoloko discussed the idea of strengthening the Union and then the decision of the Board was discussed with the Ministry of agriculture.

- The decision consists of two points – there will be always a quota in the Board - at least 20% of the Board members will equally presented small enterprises. It should be a tough quota, we should listen to small forms, we will organize meetings for them and discuss their problems. The second decision is the establishment of the institution of co-chairmanship. We suggest Stefan Durr to become the co-Chairman of Soyuzmoloko, - Andrey Danilenko noted.
