Stocks of skimmed milk powder and butter in Russia are growing. Maxim Fasteev, a leading analyst of Infagro, announced this in his official telegram channel, writes The DairyNews.
‘The equivalent of raw milk skimmed mik powder / butter in Russia continues to increase. In the reporting week, the milk equivalent cheese/whey also significantly increased due to the rise in price of both whey and cheese,’ Fasteev wrote.
He also added that production of exchange-traded goods in the Russian Federation is currently profitable from any type of raw materials – the operating margin in the production of a pair of cheese (mass segment)/whey corresponds to 5-10%, of a pair skimmed milk powder/butter – 8-13%.
Earlier, Maxim Fasteev noted that due to hot weather conditions in Russia and Belarus, the supply of raw milk has decreased.
