Subsidized milk: fat – 3.4%, protein – 3%
Russian Ministry of Agriculture has published a draft order regarding fat and protein content in milk – not less than 3.4% and 3.0% respectively. By the way two weeks ago Russian government revised rules of commercial milk production and commercialization subsidizing.
Now according to the new rules of subsidies per liter of commercial milk allocation it is not allowed to let the milk yield decrease lower than it was at the same period of the previous year, starting from 2014. Thus at farms with 7,000 kg milk yield and above it is allowed to decrease milk yield in the current year not more than by 5% compared to the same period of the previous year, starting from 2014. By the way to get subsidies the producers will have to keep to a certain calf crop index – 70 heads per 100 cows a year. These are the main changes submitted to the scheme of subsidies per liter of milk allocation.
