Summer verandas in Moscow will work without a QR-code system until August 1
‘At the request of representatives of public catering, service of visitors without presenting QR codes on the summer verandas will be allowed until August 1 of this year (inclusive). This decision will support both restaurants, and the tourism industry as a whole, and Muscovites who have not had time to complete vaccination yet,’ Sobyanin wrote.
The experiment on the operation of catering establishments in the "COVID free" format has become an indefinite rule since June 28 in Moscow. Now restaurants and cafes can accept only those vaccinated against COVID-19 who have been ill for the last six months or have a negative PCR test valid for three days, according to the decree of the mayor of the capital. At the same time, the requirement to check QR codes from visitors was canceled for summer verandas until July 11, inclusive.
