Sverdlovsk region: a new line was put into operation at Bogdanovichi city dairy plant
The construction of a new production building of the enterprise for the production of traditional dairy products — milk, kefir and yoghurts — was completed in 2020. The amount of investment in the project was 2.5 billion rubles. 104 new jobs were created here.
"Dairy farming, milk processing, production of high-quality, high-demand products are the strong point of our agricultural industry, the point of investment growth in the industry. The opening of a new shop at Bogdanovichi dairy plant strengthens these leadership positions, allows expanding the range of products and its competitiveness, creating new jobs, introducing modern technologies", said Governor Yevgeny Kuyvashev.
Bogdanovichi city dairy plant, part of the group of companies "Molochny kit", before the launch of the new production line produced up to 1,4 thousand tons of products per month. Last year, the company received and processed 22.7 thousand tons of raw milk.
"The Governor of Sverdlovsk region and members of the Legislative Assembly pay great attention to the food security of the region. As a result, by the end of 2019, we are ranked seventh in milk production in Russia and first in the Ural Federal District. Milk, of course, needs to be processed. Thanks to state and regional support, processors are introducing new technologies and expanding their product line", said Lyudmila Babushkina, President of the Legislative Assembly of Sverdlovsk region.
