The 31st robotic farm was opened in Kaluga region

On the farm there was established a complete process chain from the creation of own forage base to selling milk to processing plants. 50 million rubles has been spent on the project, of which 35 million rubles – own funds and 15 million rubles – the grant. The farm has also received a subsidy in the amount of 9.4 million rubles under the program "100 robotic farms".

The Governor of Kaluga region Anatoly Artamonov during the opening ceremony, noted that "the construction of robotic farms is for those who starts, it is the best option."

Now at the private farm Parshikov there are 53 cows, 9 heads of young stock. Milk yield per cow is 15 liters. Design capacity of the farm is 140 cows with productivity 3500-6000 kg / cow per year.

The new enterprise is the 31st robotic farm in the region. In total there are 120 milking robots working on the farms of the region.

A priority for the region is to increase production to 1,000,000 tons per year. This goal can be achieved through innovation and by preparing highly qualified specialists, who will be trained at the main agricultural University of the country.

This year 180 people got their diplomas in the Kaluga branch of the Russian State University named after Timiryazev, 16 of them got diplomas with honor.

"Today it is more interesting to work in agriculture than at plants and factories. There is a huge amount of complex technologies, a lot of machinery and equipment at our agricultural enterprises. The region set an active course for the development of dairy farming and the construction of robotic farms", - said the Governor of Kaluga region.
