The 3rd auction of pedigree animals took place in Leningrad region

66 heads from 59 breeding plants and reproducers were presented at the auction, reports The DairyNews from the event.
On sale there were exhibited 42 heifers of black and white breed, 13 heifers of Ayrshire breed, 11 heifers of black and white Holstein breed, 2 pedigree bulls of Holstein breed and Ayrshire breed. In addition, 3 pedigree rams of Katumskaya breed from LLC “Agricultural enterprise “Katumy” took part in the auction.
The most expensive lot was a heifer of black and white Holstein breed from the breeding factory "Gomontovo", which was sold for 222 thousand rubles. The most active buyer was "Agricultural cooperative Polyany" of Vyborg district of Leningrad region, that bought 32 heifers for a total amount of 4.5 million rubles.
The auction was held on the basis of the riding hall "Derby" in the village Enkolovo of Vsevolozhsk district of Leningrad region.
