The agricultural enterprise Rassvet in Kirov region has opened a large dairy farm

The new complex uses the tied-up housing technology for cows, a special role is assigned to details for the comfort of cattle. The ventilation of the barn is thought out, the lighting is mounted in such a way that there are no shadow spots on the feed table, a warm water supply system is provided everywhere, a thick straw bedding for the comfort of cows.

‘The results of the industry's work in the past year indicate the sustainable development of dairy farming. Kirov region holds the leading positions in gross milk production in the Volga Federal District and in the Russian Federation. In terms of milk yield per cow, our region ranks third among the Volga regions and fifth in Russia. I am sure that the leading positions will remain in the future. For this purpose, we constantly allocate funds for technical and technological modernization of the industry,’ said Governor of Kirov region Igor Vasiliev.

The new building uses resource-saving technologies for keeping cows, which can significantly reduce the cost of milk production. The basis of the method is good ventilation. It is necessary, since fresh air has a beneficial effect on the health of animals, allows you to increase milk yields and weight gain. Cows feel comfortable in a wide temperature range from plus 15 to minus 15 degrees. Places for resting are protected from wind and precipitation, comfortable and dry.

It should be noted that comfortable conditions have also been created for the employees of the complex; convenient access roads have been provided.

In October 2021, it is planned to open the second building of the complex, which will create an entire ecosystem. In 2022, it is planned to build a free-stall calf barn here, in addition, documents for obtaining breeding status by the farm have already been prepared, and this is also a prospect for the future, additional funds.

Currently, 123 people work at Rassvet farm. According to Alexey Kotlyachkov, Deputy Chairman of the government, Minister of Agriculture and Food of the region, Rassvet and other farms of the holding Shakhunya Moloko regularly receive subsidies from the federal and regional budgets.
