The agricultural holding "Step" has put in operation a dairy farm in Krasnodar region and plans to build two more

The commercial launch of the first phase is scheduled for 2019. Reaching of the design capacity by the farm is expected in 2021 with a gross milk yield of 20 thousand tons per year. Thus, the total volume of milk produced by the agricultural holding will reach 56 thousand tons per year, which will allow it to enter the top 5 milk producers in Russia.

In total, there will be 1.8 thousand cows on the farm (to date there was delivered 1 thousand head). Filling of the farm is planned at the expense of own livestock.
The DairyNews reminds: Alfa-Bank has allocated long-term financing to agricultural holding "Step", part of the AFC "Sistema", for the construction of a new high-tech dairy farm located in Pavlovsk district of Krasnodar region. Part of the funds will also be used to purchase equipment. The credit limit amounted to 850 million rubles, the term of the obligations is 10 years.

The enterprise has implemented the system of automatic monitoring of the herd in real time, which allows to reduce the incidence and enhance animal performance.
"The agricultural holding operates in several regions of our country. We have invested 800 million rubles. But we plan to expand further. We still have plans for the construction of two complexes in the region for 3 thousand head each", - said senior Vice-President of AFC "Systema" Ali Uzdenov on the opening of the complex.

In general the strategy of development of the agricultural holding involves the construction of four more dairy farms for 3 thousand forage cows each, which will allow to reach the production of raw milk at the level of about 200 thousand tons per year.

At the moment the agricultural holding sells all milk only to the enterprises of Krasnodar region. 

PJSC “Rodina” is engaged in production and sale of grain, sunflower, sugar beet, fodder crops, cattle breeding, production and sale of milk. According to the annual report, the company's revenue under Russian accounting standards (RAS) for 2016 amounted to 1,527 billion rubles, net profit – 216.1 million rubles.

The assets of the agricultural holding "Step" are located in the Krasnodar and Stavropol regions, Rostov region and Karachay-Cherkessia. The business of the holding encompasses four divisions: crop production, dairy cattle breeding, intensive horticulture and vegetable production. Gross harvest of farms of the agricultural holding in the crop planting sector exceeds 1 million tons, including 500 thousand tons of wheat.
