The authorities of Moscow region plan to open 14 dairy plants by the end of 2021
"It is important that projects that are being implemented in Moscow region bring tangible benefits to residents in the form of new jobs and additional revenue to the budget. More than 1.7 thousand people will be able to work at 14 new production facilities, and investments will exceed 55 billion rubles. Attracting investors to the region, the regional government is closely monitoring that business performs its social function", said Vadim Khromov, Deputy Prime Minister of Moscow region.
In two years, four objects of the cheese cluster currently being created will be put into operation. The total production volume will be 15 thousand tons of cheese per year – a quarter of the total volume of such products in Russia. At present, Moscow region ranks second in the country in the production of cheese and cheese products.
"The dairy industry in Moscow region is growing at a faster pace: in the next two years, there will be launched eight milk production facilities, which will house more than 10,000 cows and 14,000 goats. There will also be two processing enterprises that will be able to produce products from 2,350 tons of milk per day", said Minister of agriculture of Moscow region Andrey Razin.
The future of the dairy industry will be discussed more in detail at the VI International agro-industrial dairy forum, which will be held on November 26-27 at the Government House of Moscow region. The forum will bring together all the leading players in the dairy market, government representatives, experts and entrepreneurs from Russia and foreign countries.
