The authorities propose to refuse to issue a veterinary certificate for dairy products to enterprises that are not registered in the "Honest mark" system
To do this, it is proposed to introduce a new paragraph in the rules for labeling dairy products approved by Government Decree No. 2099:
‘The Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation should provide in the Veterinary Rules for the organization of work on the registration of veterinary accompanying documents approved by Order of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation No. 589 of December 27, 2016 that when issuing veterinary accompanying documents for dairy products subject to mandatory labeling by identification means, the applicant's registration in the information monitoring system is checked, the absence of which is the basis for refusal to issue a veterinary accompanying document.’
The document is planned to be prepared this summer, so that it will enter into force on September 1, 2021.
