The Cabinet of Ministers of the Russian Federation will allocate 24 billion rubles for soft loans to strategic enterprises
"We also provide support to strategic enterprises on behalf of the President. We are talking about providing preferential loans for working capital replenishment. For this purpose, we will subsidize credit organizations for 24 billion rubles. The amount of such a loan for a period of one year will be up to 1 billion rubles. At the same time, the rate will not exceed 5% per annum", Mishustin said.
He noted that such support is necessary for businesses to maintain employment, continuous work, as well as ensure the purchase of goods and services. The mechanism will also ensure the payment of salaries to employees. The Prime Minister stressed that the key task today is to ensure the stable operation of the largest enterprises, which employ millions of people.
Last week, on Friday, the press service of the Ministry of economic development reported that the government Commission for improving the sustainability of the Russian economy approved 489 applications for inclusion in the lists of strategic enterprises. Applications were submitted by the Ministry of industry and trade, the Ministry of energy, the Ministry of Communications and the Ministry of agriculture. The work on reviewing and forming industry lists of strategic enterprises continues. In total, according to the expectations of the Minister of economic development of Russia Maxim Reshetnikov, the lists may include 1000-1100 enterprises.
