The CATD has tested all used packaging for labeling
"The figure of 60% of packaging types that the labeling has been successfully tested on is outdated. Over the past 60 days, the CATD has successfully tested all packaging and materials used by the industry, including cardboard, Tetra Pack, plastic lids, plastic bags, and the most common packaging form factors", reported in the press service.
Just to remind, in mid-November, the government approved the start date of mandatory labeling of finished dairy products since June 1, 2020. The experiment on labeling of finished dairy products is carried out for products manufactured industrially and packed in consumer containers. Moreover, the labeling does not apply to products that are packed directly at the time of sale, if these products were not packed at the previous stages.
