The Central Federal District, the Northwestern Federal District and the Southern Federal District are the leaders in the readiness of printing houses for mandatory labeling
This was announced at the webinar "Typographic drawing: the current status of readiness of printing houses" by Varvara Mikhailova, Project manager for working with printing houses, CATD.
According to her, nine printing houses in the Central Federal District are fully equipped with the necessary equipment for mandatory labeling and are connected to the CATD operator, in the Northwestern Federal District and the Southern Federal District – eight each, the North Caucasus Federal District - 2, the Ural Federal District – 1, the Siberian Federal District – 1 and another printing house is being connected.
‘In the Far Eastern Federal District, no printing house is connected to the "Honest Mark" yet,’ the speaker clarified. ‘But there are three companies that have expressed a desire to participate in the project. All of them mainly print packaging for dairy products, which will start with mandatory labeling since December 1, 2021. It is planned that in June-July they will complete the equipment of printing facilities, and we will connect them to the software and hardware complex and install technical vision.
During the webinar, the expert reminded that if "your printing house" does not want to work with packaging in the labeling system, then you need to contact the operator of the CATD, and it will help you choose the sites. The operator's website also has a list of printing houses in the regions that can provide this service.
‘Once again, I note that your commission agents, resellers and providers can become participants in the hardware complex program,’ the speaker stressed. ‘If you do not work directly with printing houses and it would be convenient for you to transfer barcodes through a commission agent, so that it then sends them to the printing house, then you can contact us. We will provide the software and hardware complex to such legal entities.
