Cheeses of the farmer from Tula Alexey Andreev received gold and silver medal of the prestigious French competition Fromonval - the main regional competition of the East of France, in which cheese makers from all over the country and the Swiss masters take part.
This was told by the farmer on his page in Facebook.
- The bronze medal was won in the category of cheeses Pâte molle special for Brick cheese. And.... gold medal - in the category of goat soft cheese with mold for cheese Tour de Chevre! - said Alexey Andreev.
The jury of the competition was attended by 200 people, of whom 30 were professional tasters; the choice was made as a result of blind tasting.
64 cheesemakers took part in the competition, which brought more than 240 different cheeses. Cheese of the "Craft cheese factory by Alexey Andreev" took part in the international competition for the first time.
