The company Alltech is a sponsor of the business program of the Motor Rally in Canada
The company Alltech regularly holds events for livestock specialists, such as the annual School of dairy cattle breeding, which this year will be held in Germany from 10 to 14 September. As noted by head of the dairy cattle breeding group of Alltech Russia Mark Kolotovkin, "like The DairyNews, we invite well-known specialists and consultants who combine theory and practice, as well as are an opportunity for acquaintance, informal communication and exchange of experience. The Motor Rally is also a platform for meeting colleagues and learning new things. This idea is close to us and therefore we support it".
The company Alltech is well represented in Canada. Alltech experts note that close work is being carried out with the livestock producers of the country, which supports the health and productivity of the herd with the help of natural additives. "We also have a biotechnology center here, where we produce organic micronutrients Bioplex®", says Kolotovkin. In 2015 Alltech acquired the company Masterfeeds, which has been a supplier of feed and premixes for livestock in Canada for 89 years. Masterfeeds owns 14 plants, including 6 premix production enterprises and 1 plant specializing in the production of poultry feed. This acquisition enabled Canadian farmers to take advantage of two leading companies in their fields.
Alltech invited two unique specialists who can be listened to and communicate with during the business program of the event, and the company also organized a visit to the plant for the production of organic micronutrients (proteinates).
On July 15 there will be a lecture of Jada Heinrichs, Professor of animal husbandry at the University of Pennsylvania, about feeding cows and factors influencing the content of milk fat and milk protein and about ways to manage them.
On July 16, the company invites participants to visit the center of biotechnology Alltech and learn what affects the biological availability of micronutrients and how the most biologically available organic micronutrients are produced.
On July 19 Trevor Smith, a Canadian mycotoxicologist having 35 years of experience from the University of Guelph, will speak to the participants. Dr. Smith will talk about the impact of mycotoxins on the quality of feed, health and productivity of animals. Participants of the dairy Motor Rally will have an opportunity to learn the latest facts about mycotoxins, which are based on the results of Trevor Smith's own research.
Answering the question what makes the Motor Rally so interesting, Mark says that a visit to a country like Canada is an experience and an opportunity to talk with colleagues in a relaxed atmosphere, it is an opportunity to "touch" the production with your own hands, the opportunity to expand the horizons of your ideas about your business and what you can do!
