The company "Molvest" launched a plant for processing whey in Kalach
"Kalach district has become a traditional place for opening of new plants of “Molvest”. Whey processing is a completely new area of development of our industry, which solves many problems. These are technological tasks for obtaining ingredients that can be used both for food and medical purposes. Secondly, a serious environmental problem will be solved - whey will be fully used, not destroyed. In addition, it is a significant contribution to the economy of the region. The enterprise at full capacity will open 40 jobs", - told the owner of the “Molvest” company Arkady Ponomarev.
"This is the best example of processing capacity, when all components of the original product - in this case, it is milk - are processed and delivered to the consumer. This allows us to save the added value of products, and this company is an economic example to follow", - said Alexander Gusev, Governor of Voronezh region.
"More than 100 builders from 6 European countries worked here. Within 570 days we have created the best enterprise of its kind in the country. Here is the best equipment from Germany, Denmark, Slovakia and Russia, which will allow us to produce a product that is not inferior to the European one. Thanks to the new enterprise "Molvest" will enter a new market of dry milk ingredients. This will help us to increase revenue by 800 million per year and simultaneously solve the problem of import substitution and the environmental burden of our production", said Anatoly Losev, CEO of “Molvest”.
The capacity of the new enterprise will be 600 tons of raw whey per day. In terms of finished products, this is 3 tons of whey protein concentrate per day and 27.3 tons of dry demineralized permeate per day. Currently, "Kalacheevsky cheese plant" processes 100% of the whey obtained during the production of cheese.
"We have made a very big step from a technological point of view. The prospects for the development of this area are huge, and the use of components of milk is limitless. Today, on the opening day of the enterprise, I would like to say that this is a groundwork for the further successful development of the entire company", added Arkady Ponomarev.
“Molvest” is the largest company in Chernozemye region and the third in Russia in terms of milk processing. The volume of processing is more than 480 thousand tons of products per year. The company includes eight processing plants, four dairy mega complexes, 8 dairy farms, feed mills and a network of branded stores.
