The construction of the infrastructure of the cheese cluster in Moscow region is planned to be completed by the end of June

"Tomorrow there will be another inspection of construction works of the infrastructure of the cheese cluster in Moscow region. To date, all excavation work has been completed at the facility, including work below the "zero" mark. There has been built the tank of treatment facilities. The building of the water intake unit and the foundation of the roadway are under construction", Andrey Razin said.

According to the Minister, at the moment all the plans are being implemented.

"Upon completion of the construction of infrastructure, we will start the implementation of projects for the construction of cheese factories and enterprises for the processing of whey. It is also planned to build a dairy laboratory, which will monitor the quality of incoming raw materials and the quality of ready cheese at factories", - said Andrey Razin.

About 7 enterprises will be built on the territory of the cheese cluster. With the launch of the factories there will be about 500-600 jobs.

As previously stated by Andrey Razin, with reaching full capacity by the plants about 20.5 thousand tons of cheese per year will be produced in Moscow region. Nowadays, about 50 thousand tons of cheese per year is produced in Moscow region.
