The Dairy plant of EkoNiva has confirmed the status of organic production
The plant in Kaluga region produces organic pasteurized milk "EkoNiva Organic" with a fat content of 3.3-6% and semi-hard organic cheese "Medynsky Organic". Raw milk for their production is supplied fr om the farm of the company Savinskaya Niva, located in the village of Savino, Kaluga region.
The specialists of Roskachestvo conducted an audit of all stages of organic production at the MosMedynagroprom plant - from the acceptance of raw milk to the warehouse wh ere finished products are stored. Organic raw milk is supplied from the farm of the company Savinskaya Niva in Kaluga region and transported in separate milk trucks, contact with other milk is excluded. Organic milk is stored in special cooling tanks. Milk and cheese are produced on separate production lines. Packing is also carried out strictly according to the regulations.
‘Since 2019 MosMedynagroprom is certified according to European and Russian standards for the production of organic products. Certification gives the right to be a full-fledged participant in the Russian and European markets, as well as to apply the "Euro-leaf" and "Organic" labels on the packaging. Every year, the company is required to undergo an audit and confirm both certificates,’ reminds Tatiana Grishchenko, head of the Department for interaction with public authorities of EkoNiva-APK Holding, curator of the organic direction.
Organic dairy products from EkoNiva are presented in branded stores of their own retail, as well as in the federal retail chains "Globus", "Okey", "Auchan", "Lenta", on the Internet platforms Ozon, "Sbermarket", etc. The demand for organic milk from cafes and restaurants is also growing. Currently, EkoNiva is working on the launch of ultra-pasteurized organic milk with a fat content of 3.2%.
