Targets for reproduction on the farm

- Calving interval 400 days.
- Number of pregnant cows by 150th day of lactation - 80%.
- Volantary waiting period after calving (when cows are not inseminated and they take time to recover) for cows - 50 days, for first calvers - 60 days.
- Number of inseminations per successful conception. For cows 3.2 times, for first calvers – 2.5 times.
- Percentage of pregnant cows in the herd – more than 55%
- Success of the first insemination – more than 60%
Targets for diseases
❕Difficult calvings 2-5%
❕Retained placenta 5%
❕Metritis 5%
❕Clinical ketosis not more than 1%
❕Displaced abomasum less than 1%
❕Culling of fresh cows (BEFORE first insemination) – not more than 10%.
