The Danone plant in Tyumen region launched a line for milk powder
Alexander Moore and his Deputy, Director of the Department of agro-industrial complex of Tyumen region Vladimir Cheymetov took part in the online launch of a new line for the production of milk powder at a dairy plant in Yalutorovsk.
The new line should solve the problem of seasonal surplus of dairy products of Tyumen farmers.
As the Governor noted, it is important for the region that the produced milk in Tyumen region is processed here. Moreover, the Yalutorovsky plant is the largest buyer of milk in the Urals.
Alexander Moore also thanked the investor for the fact that the project, which started in 2019, was implemented on time, despite the situation with the coronavirus.
"I am sure that if the region is provided with this product, the company will be able to enter foreign markets with it. Danone will be able to sell its products not only to neighboring Kazakhstan, but also to enter the large and capacious market of China", said Alexander Moore.
In turn, CEO of Danone Charlie Capetti said that the site of the plant was chosen because of the competent investment policy of the region's leadership and specifically, the authorities who helped in the implementation of this project. He also assured that the company imposes strict requirements to the quality of products, even higher than required by the legislation of Russia.
The Yalutorovsky dairy plant has been operating since 1936 and started with the production of milk powder, which helped our compatriots survive in difficult wartime.
