The development of the cheese market will depend on the income of the population
According to analysts, with the growth of incomes, the overall market growth will be 1-2% per year. At the same time, there will be a rapid replacement of the share of cheese products with cheese and a reduction in the share of cheese products to 5%. With the introduction of new capacities, consolidation will squeeze out from the market most of the producers of cheese products that do not have experience with cheeses, but the shortage of raw materials may worsen.
In case of stagnation of incomes, the market will decline. Cheese products will reduce the share slowly – up to 15-20%. Not all new capacities will be brought to market, but continue to put significant pressure on it. Also, according to analysts, there are risks of bankruptcy of major players.
