The document on the grade of milk is planned to be sent to Rosstandart in June

As reported in RSPMO, with the aim to raise the RF level of microbiological characteristics of raw milk, to provide dairy enterprises with the opportunity to receive raw milk of high quality for processing and to manufacture products of any range, including preserves, cheeses, baby food, therapeutic and dietary products, the Dairy Union of Russia proposed to make provision to the technical regulations for the establishment of additional and grade indicators of identification of raw milk in national legislation and/or national standards for raw milk.

During the meeting in the Ministry of agriculture there was announced the approval of the draft amendment 2 GOST R 52054 "Cow’s raw milk. Technical conditions", which establishes requirements for the grades: extra, first and second. To see the project Change No. 2 GOST R 52054, as well as to participate in the discussion, please contact the Secretariat of the TC 470/532 MTK (abdullaeva@dairyunion.ru) or the developer — the Federal state budgetary scientific institution VNIMI (All-Russian research Institute of dairy industry). The project is scheduled to be agreed in June 2017 and sent to Rosstandard for approval.
