The EEC published a document excluding the ban on processing milk from leukemic cows
The amendment takes effect in 180 days since the date of publication. In addition, according to the decision, certain safety parameters of food raw materials and products are being specified.

In particular, the following requirements for raw milk from cattle, including small cattle have become invalid.
Raw milk and raw cream are allowed to be used if they are obtained from healthy animals from farms that are officially free of infectious animal diseases:
- foot-and-mouth disease - within the last 12 months on the territory of the country or administrative territory in accordance with regionalization;
- bovine plague - within the last 24 months on the territory of the country or administrative territory in accordance with regionalization;
- small ruminant plague - within the last 36 months on the territory of the country or administrative territory in accordance with regionalization;
- contagious pleuropneumonia - within the last 24 months on the territory of the country or administrative territory in accordance with regionalization;
- leukemia - within the last 12 months on the farm;
- bovine brucellosis, tuberculosis, paratuberculosis during the last 6 months on the farm;
- brucellosis of sheep and goats, small cattle tuberculosis - during the last 6 months on the farm;
- sheep and goat pox - within the last 6 months in the country or administrative territory in accordance with regionalization.
