The enterprises of the Ministry of agriculture and food increased the exports of dairy products to China in January-July 5.6 times
"For seven months of this year, there were delivered agricultural products to China for $ 23.3 million, which is 4.2 times more than last year. The main driver was dairy products. In January-July, we made a major breakthrough in the supply of dairy products to the Chinese market: during this period, there was supplied 57.3 thousand ton for $20 million. The export of dairy products to China has increased in monetary terms almost 5.6 times compared to the level of the previous year, in real terms - 6.9%," - said Alexei Bogdanov.
Yesterday, the first container train with Belarusian dairy products went to China from Kolyadichi station. "It is planned that the number of cars will increase in such trains. The task is to increase the supply of dairy products to China up to 100 containers per month. And it is necessary to expand the range. Today we sent to China skimmed milk powder, but we supply not only this product, but also whey powder, whole milk powder, we actively promote finished products - cheese and butter. We want to enter the Chinese market with yogurt products", - said the Head of the Main Department of foreign trade activity. Almost all Belarusian milk processing enterprises are certified for the right to supply products to China.
