The experiment on the labeling of dairy products in Russia can be launched in the I quarter - Manturov

Since July 1, 2018, manufacturers in the Russian Federation must prepare veterinary certificates for animal products in electronic form in the "Mercury" system. The requirement affects producers of meat and milk, meat products and other goods. Finished dairy products were also proposed to be included in the list of products that are accompanied by veterinary certificates, but in the end they were excluded from the list.
For finished dairy products, it was suggested to carry out a labeling experiment, but the pilot project has not yet been launched. In December the Ministry of agriculture of the Russian Federation published a draft order, in which it is proposed to include finished dairy products in the "Mercury" system since July 1, 2019.
