The growth of milk consumption in Russia in 2019 will amount to 1-2% and will be close to the level of stagnation. Such data were made public during the fifth meeting of the "Dairy sessions" organized by Soyuzmoloko, reports The DairyNews.
According to session analysts, the current trends will remain in the dairy market next year, and consumption will grow by about 1-2%. During the discussions, it was noted that the industry has sufficient potential, while the production needs constant modernization, work on product quality and staff training.
In addition, the experts noted that the largest market players are gradually increasing capacity, but the consolidation of the industry remains at a low level.
