The export of the Belarusian agroindustrial complex to Russia for 2016 has exceeded $4 billion

"In total 352 thousand tons of meat and meat products and 4 million tons of milk and dairy products was delivered to the Russian Federation. Speaking of money, the export of agricultural products to Russia at the end of last year amounted to 3.2 billion dollars without taking into account indicators of the concern "Belgospishcheprom", and in total — over 4 billion dollars", — said Zayats.

The Rosselkhoznadzor on February 6, introduced temporary restrictions on the supply of beef and beef by-products of the enterprises of Minsk region, suspecting them of re-export from Ukraine. Earlier, the authority imposed temporary restrictions and additional requirements for the supply from four meat processing plants of Belarus due to gross violations of veterinary legislation. The office considered it appropriate to impose temporary restrictions in respect of JSC "Zhlobin meat-processing plant" and the regime of enhanced laboratory control in respect of JSC "Dubravskiy broiler", JSC "Smolevichi broiler", JSC "Stolbtsy meat-packing plant".
