The government of Ukraine allocates 4 billion hryvnia for the construction of livestock breeding complexes

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has determined the amount of government support in the amount of 4 billion UAH for the construction of new livestock breeding complexes in the framework of the program.
This was stated by Prime Minister of Ukraine Vladimir Groysman during a special meeting on development of agricultural sector, reports Government portal.
"A final financial decision has to be presented this week," - said Groysman.
On the proposal of the government, the means out of these 4 billion UAH will be directed primarily at supporting the construction of new farms and complexes – or cheaper loans for construction or for compensation of part of expenses of manufacturers on the construction. The maximum credit resource is € 10 million per production complex at 3% per annum for 5 years. The maximum amount of compensation is 25% of total costs.
If necessary, the mechanisms can be corrected by the results of the operation of the programs during the first half of the year. However, according to the forecast, until the end of the year the growth of livestock, will not be less than 11% and milk production – not less than 5%.
