The Group of companies Agropromkomplektatsiya has launched a dairy complex with a capacity of 190 tons per day in Kursk region
The ceremony is attended by Minister of Agriculture of Russia Dmitry Patrushev, Governor Roman Starovoit, Chairman of the Board of the Rosselkhoznadzor Boris Listov and CEO of the Group of companies Agropromkomplektatsiya Sergey Novikov.
The facility was built within a year. The planned capacity of the new milk production complex is 190 tons per day, 70 thousand tons per year.
Today, the capacity of the existing dairy complex Dmitrievsky is 12 thousand animals. The facility provided more than 200 job1s.
‘Without exaggeration, this is a serious step for the development of agriculture in Kursk region. The new complex will allow producing about 20% of all milk in the region. Kursk region is one of the successful examples of animal husbandry development. This is the largest project of this direction in the region. We hope that the productivity of the herd here will exceed the average indicators. In the very near future, another dairy complex will open, the region will receive an additional 100 thousand tons of milk,’ said Minister Dmitry Patrushev.
Governor Roman Starovoit thanked the Minister for the support and successful cooperation.
Roman Starovoit: ‘Agricultural support programs are being successfully implemented in the region. For the districts, the opening of such complexes is not only jobs, but also the development of settlements. The country is strong only with strong regions, and the creation of such enterprises provides support for our villages.’
