The import price of dairy products exceeded 41 rubles/kg
The import price increased by 1.06% to 41.1 rubles (about 0.49 euro)/kg, compared to early December 2020, the indicator is 19.5% higher. A key factor in the growth of import prices was the increase in butter prices. At the BUCE auction, the price of butter increased again, by 5%. At the Trigona Dairy Trade auction, the prices of butter, skimmed milk powder and whey powder increased while the price of cheese remained at the level of the previous auction. The price of butter, taking into account the weakening of the ruble compared to the previous auction, increased by 3% to 453 rubles (about 5.44 euro)/kg, the price of cheddar increased by 0.2% to 356.2 rubles (about 4.28 euro)/kg, the price of skimmed milk powder increased by 1.7% to 278.6 rubles (about 3.35 euro)/kg. The price of whey powder increased by 2.8% to 97.2 rubles (about 1.17 euro)/kg.
The import price of a pair of skimmed milk powder + butter increased by 2.2% to 48.34 rubles (about 0.58 euros)/kg (1 kg in terms of milk). The import price of a pair of cheese + whey increased by 0.03% to 36.41 rubles (about 0.44 euro)/kg. The price of whole milk powder remained at the level of 34.34 rubles (about 0.41 euro)/kg.
Due to the increase in the import price, the Dairy Index DIA also continued to grow and reached 31.75 rubles/kg (excluding VAT, fat - 3.6%, protein - 3.0%), which is 0.4% higher than last week and 11.9% higher than in early December 2020.
