The import price of dairy products to Russia has reached a new peak
Compared to last week, the import price increased by 0.3% to 37.76 rubles/kg, compared to the beginning of October 2020, the indicator is 10.9% higher. The key factor in the growth of the indicator was the increase in prices for exchange-traded dairy products. The import price of a pair of skimmed milk powder + butter increased by 0.7% to 42.54 rubles/kg (1 kg in terms of milk). The import price of a pair of cheese + whey decreased by 0.2% to 34.24 rubles/kg. The price of whole milk powder remained at the level of 30.52 rubles/kg.
At the same time, it should be noted that in dollars, the import price remained virtually at the level of last week, 0.52 dollars per kg.
It is worth reminding that the Dairy Index DIA, an indicator of the dynamics of the raw milk price on the Russian market, exceeded 30 rubles/kg, also reaching the maximum of recent years.
