The largest project in Leningrad region worth 1.3 billion rubles on creation of a new cheese production in the village Bugry has been suspended. This is reported by the publication "Novy Prospekt "with reference to Director of the breeding plant Burgy Viktor Loktionov.
The company planned to invest 1.3 billion rubles in the creation of a new production, and its capacity should be 2,200 tons of semi-hard cheeses per year. However, the project was abandoned for a number of reasons, including financial ones, the publication writes. It makes no sense to resume the project against the background of the economic crisis, said Loktionov.
In addition, the creation of cheese production of soft cheeses with a capacity of up to 3000 tons of products per year in Leningrad region was also refused by the Group of companies Galaktika, reports Novy Prospekt with reference to market players. The volume of investments in this project was estimated at 400-500 million rubles.
