The largest innovative dairy complex in Russia will start operating in Mordovia in October
‘When I set the task of building this dairy complex in my Message to the State Assembly a few years ago, not everyone believed it. Because the project is very large-scale, - said Head of Mordovia, Vladimir Volkov, who visited the construction site. - However, despite all the difficulties, including the spread of coronavirus infection, the construction of this facility is in full swing. This is very important both for the economy and for people – these are new jobs.’
The dairy complex will start operating at full capacity in three years. It will be the largest in Russia, and the Republic of Mordovia with its introduction will increase milk production, regardless of the time of year, by 200 tons per day. For comparison, the current peak of milk production in the region does not exceed 1200 tons per day, even in the summer.
However, that is not all. A plant designed to process 400 tons of milk per day will also be built based on the dairy complex. According to Vladimir Volkov, its construction is planned for 2021.
