In accordance with the decree of Minister of agriculture Alexander Tkachev, there was established the Expert Council on the development of dairy farming under the Ministry of agriculture of the Russian Federation, reports The DairyNews.
The Council's main tasks are to conduct expert-analytical assessment of the situation in the dairy industry; to prepare proposals to the administration of the Ministry of agriculture of Russia on the issues of development of dairy cattle breeding.
We will remind, the Ministry of agriculture instructed to prepare proposals for the establishment of sectoral Expert Council in May last year.
It is known that the staff of the Council includes representatives of dairy unions, including the Executive Director of the Russian Union of dairy industry enterprises Lyudmila Manitskaya, the representative of Danone Marina Balabanova, Executive Director of Soyuzmoloko Artem Belov, a representative of PepsiCo Sergey Glushkov, Chairman of the Board of Soyuzmoloko Andrey Danilenko, Deputy General Director of "Damate" Andrey Grigorashchenko, General Director of PG "Dimitrogradskoe" Denis Dorodnykh, a representative of Olam Int. Anton Eropkin, Director of LLC "Lukoz" Vladimir Kozhanov, member of the Board of Directors of JSC "Kamenskoye" Andrey Nikolayev, the Head of Agrofirm "TRIO" Eugeniya Uvarkina, the President of Soyuzmoloko and the Deputy of State Duma Airat Khairullin, General Director of JSC "Agroplemsojuz" Vasiliy Shapochkin, Manager for milk procurement of JSC "Karat" Mikhail Kurashov.
Besides, the staff of the Board includes the Director of the Department of food and processing industry Eugeniy Akhpashev, Chairman of the Board of the "Union of sugar producers of Russia" Andrey Bodin, Director of Department of regulation of agricultural markets Vladimir Volik, Deputy Director of the Department of veterinary medicine Alexey Machnev, Chairman of the Board of Directors of LLC "Dashenka" Andrey Triphanov, Director of the Department of Economics and state support of agriculture Natalia Chernetsova.
The first Deputy Minister of agriculture Dzhambulat Khatuov is appointed the Chairman of the Board and Director of Department of animal husbandry Kharon Amerkhanov will be Deputy Chairman.
