The Ministry of agriculture of Russia noted the leadership of Tatarstan in the daily volume of milk sales
As of December 2 this year, the volume of commercial milk sold in the country by agricultural organizations amounted to 44.1 thousand tons. This is 8.1% more than in 2018.
Maximum volumes of milk sales per day were achieved in the Republic of Tatarstan, Krasnodar region, Voronezh, Kirov, Sverdlovsk, Leningrad, Belgorod, Moscow, Novosibirsk, Nizhny Novgorod and Vologda regions, the republics of Udmurtia and Bashkortostan, as well as Altai region.
According to operational data of the Ministry of agriculture and food of the Republic of Tatarstan, as of December 11, 2019, agricultural enterprises and peasant (farm) holdings sold 3,267.9 tons of milk. This is 209.6 tons or 7% more than the corresponding figure last year.
As previously reported in Tatarstan, the gross milk yield in agricultural organizations in January – November this year amounted to 1 ,239.4 thousand tons, which is 4% more than in the same period of 2018.
